Understanding Your True Purpose and Get More Done in the Process

“When you own your time, you choose where that time goes.”

Stefanie Gass

Stefanie believes in working less and making more. She’s passionate about ways to earn a passive income through time blocking and proactive time management.

Stefanie coaches faith-led, mompreneurs on how to tap into their spiritual gifts. She believes that everyone is inherently blessed with special gifts and talents meant to influence the world. Stefanie helps women receive clarity on those skills and then build a business around them. Not only that, but she runs a popular podcast called The Mompreneurs Mastermind Show. She’s a mom of two and lives out in the country, where she’s a lover of coffee and being in pj’s all day. Stefanie is adamant about being authentic to who you are

“Every Pivotal part of  our life is preparing us for that big calling work.” - Stefanie Gass

Being an entrepreneur wasn’t something Stefanie understood growing up. She received her master’s degree in Accounting and Finance and became a big corporate honcho until the business she was working for at the time went bankrupt.

At 26 and newly married, she needed to find something new. Stefanie found network marketing, and it was a game-changer for her. Her “all in” attitude won her awards and success. In Stefanie’s own words, she was the crazy lady everyone ran away from. However, even though she became very successful within her company, she let her drive, rank, and success become her idol and soon lost sight of what really mattered.

Stefanie went from earning $17,000 a month to $3-4 thousand, and it was then that she realized she hadn’t personally branded herself. She was just a company and had lost her identity. From there, she began mentoring and coaching faith-filled entrepreneurs, and that’s the business she manages today.

Stefanie points out that you want to be bigger than just a product. She also acknowledges that sometimes when facing our failures or something that feels like it’s not working, it’s nature’s way of realigning our priorities or perspective. Your failures are what allow you to find the light in a dark moment and apply it in the next phase of your business.

To define your god-given strengths and talents,  take a self-inventory and look at who you are and were. What are the things you are naturally good at or that other people always ask you for?

Think back to your childhood. A lot of times, as a kid, you embody the gifts you have as an adult, but as an adult, you bury the gifts and go after what will make you money or things that are stable. However, just because you need to meet life-sustaining requirements, doesn’t mean you should bury the calling. You still need to bring it out.

“Set up the boundaries that matter to you the most.” - Stefanie Gass

Don’t start with your business, but look deeper within yourself to define your personal goals.

Now, get out a piece of paper and write down the things that matter most.  They can be related to spiritual development, nutrition, or physical improvement. Block out the things you need to accomplish for you. Once those things are penciled in, you can focus on your business.

Naturally, people are more reactive and feel the need to respond to this email or comment on social media. However, when we are consistently reactive, it steals from your growth and joy. This is why it’s crucial to choose to be proactive instead. To truly be productive, you decide what goes into your day, and you own every minute.

When things come up that can derail your plan, just go with it and don’t beat yourself up. Life happens, and it is the end destination.  Our life journey is why we do the things we choose to do. So who cares if your plans and goals take a little longer than expected. However, it’s essential to decide what is non-negotiable when something unforeseen does happen. Generally, your personal goals become those non-negotiable priorities. Give yourself grace for those "off" days, but at the end of the week, have two things for your business that will help move the needle forward.
